Darrin Praska

With over 25 years of experience in education, Darrin has dedicated his career to supporting and shaping the academic journeys of students. Currently, Darrin serves as the Director of Special Education for Gilbert Public Schools.  Prior to this role, Darrin spent 16 years as a principal.  Before moving into administration, Darrin spent 9 years as a classroom teacher.  Darrin holds a Master’s Degree in Instructional Leadership and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.  In addition to his teaching background, Darrin has earned multiple professional credentials, including an Administrator License, Special Education Supervisor License, and a Teaching License.
