Gene Cavallo is the Vice President of Behavioral Health Services for Maricopa Integrated Health System, which operates the 126-bed Desert Vista Behavioral Health Center in Mesa and the 93-bed Behavioral Health Annex of the Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix. He is a member of the Behavioral Health Committee of the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association (AzHHA).
A native of Phoenix, Gene has spent his entire professional career of nearly 30 years working in the behavioral health field here in the State of Arizona. Prior to the 11 years in his current role at MIHS, Gene worked in a variety of direct care and administrative capacities at both the provider and RBHA level since 1987. Gene is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame and Arizona State University.
